Grandmothers together with mums4refugees will be attending the Sydney City Council meeting, Town Hall. A motion will be debated to reverse the cutbacks to SRSS. Mums4refugees support refugee families living in our community, providing food and other necessities. An example of life for a refugee family is a mother recently visited by mums, for the past 10 days the mother had only been able to give her children rice and tea. For more information about the cuts go to: https://bit.ly/2x3SjjJ We need as many grandmothers, Frogs and family to attend this meeting. In your purple t shirts from the public gallery, you will give a clear message that there are many people in our community willing to stand up for refugees. The meeting starts at 5pm, but as the motion will be toward the end of the evening, arrive between 6.30 and 8pm.
